The Poseidon Adventure:
We have an awesome and fun day planned with Troop and Patrol activities and time on your own to explore Oleta River State Park. The following is the schedule of events:
9:15-10:15: Beach Olympics: Be prepared to have lots of fun as we get warmed up for the day.
10:30-?: The amazing game of “Outbreak”: Can you find the cure that is hidden in locations throughout Oleta State Park before the infected “zombies” captures members of Troop 457?? Will our entire Troop become infected or will we have survivors so our Troop can live another day? A note to all the parents; we are also able to play the game so get ready!! This is a shirt tag game; so you mothers and fathers that want to play along and want to be protected from the sun, bring an extra T-shirt for the game. We will provide full instructions before the Outbreak begins!!
12:00 (at your leisure): Bring your own lunch and picnic under the pavilion.
Remainder of the day: Have fun kayaking, mountain biking, swimming, and fishing, etc. with your family and Patrols. If you plan on mountain biking which is highly encouraged you must wear a protective helmet.
Please e-mail Alan Kleber (email@example.com) with your headcount. See you at Oleta!
