LOCATION

Key Biscayne, FL

DESCRIPTION

Pioneering Day: 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Troop BBQ: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Shelter #7, North Parking Lot #2

Cost: $5.00 per person (pay when you get there)

Come one, come all, for a fun in the sun filled day at Crandon Park Beach, Key Biscayne, FL. We will start at 8:30 AM with our yearly pioneering day. You will experience hands on activities learning knots and lashings that will help you pass your requirements for your future advancements.

As for the BBQ, besides eating a lot of great food, we wili have available to us volleyball, baseball/softball, dodgeball, football, bike riding and of course, swimming in the ocean. We have reserved the softball fields next to the shelter from 1-4 PM.

Bring what ever sporting equipment you want with you and look forward to a great day of fun. If you wish to bike ride, you may rent bikes there or bring your own with you (recommended). Just don't forget your helmets. There are some great bike trails on the key just north of the park.

See you there!

The fine print.
Additional fees not included in the price are tolls and parking. If you can carpool, that will save you some bucks. While we are having fun at the beach, as in all scouting events, we must observe all safe swim and swim defense rules. All qualified adults should assist with this. If you are not qualified, it's about time you did. You may qualify at no charge on the internet at the National BSA web site. Please call me if you have any questions.
